Challenge
The Quality Inn hotel in Denver, CO was experiencing many leaking problems coming from the roof. All the top floor rooms were leaking and this caused the entire top floor rooms to be on hold and not in use. This was a old TPO roof that had many areas of leaks, they tried in the past to use patches but since so many areas were leaking it was too hard to fix everything. Also, the moisture was already inside the rooms and caused many other health concerns.
Solution
It was determined that a full replacement was needed. We went back with a 60 millimeter TPO roof with a custom tapering system. We used dens deck and 5" ISO board to add to the R-Value. New custom drains were installed to help with water flow. The rooms were repaired from the damage and there are no more leaks coming in.
