Case Study: Sunroom Project in Centennial, CO

Residential Project -

Challenge

The customer wanted to enclose their existing covered deck to create a four-season sunroom. Using the existing roof would have proved challenging due to the need to meet the proper R-value by insulating and finishing the ceiling while maintaining aesthetic appeal. Also, due to limited height, using the existing roof would have caused a step down into the new room.

Solution

The roof and deck were replaced with new eco-green LivingSpace SIPS panels. Creating a cathedral roof gave the space a large ceiling and taller wall height, making for a true four-season space. With the new roof and deck meeting the proper R-value, the customer was able to expand their living space by opening up their kitchen wall into the new sunroom.
